Acceptable Use Policy
1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines prohibited uses of Vezelnova's network, services and infrastructure. Violations may result in immediate service suspension and may be reported to relevant authorities.
2. Prohibited Activities
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam) or operating open mail relays;
- Conducting or participating in denial-of-service (DoS/DDoS) attacks;
- Port scanning, network probing or vulnerability exploitation of third-party systems without authorisation;
- Distribution of malware, ransomware, botnets or command-and-control infrastructure;
- Distribution of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content illegal under Dutch or EU law;
- Phishing, fraud, identity theft or social engineering;
- Unauthorised interception of network traffic;
- Circumventing geo-restrictions or sanctions in violation of applicable law;
- IP spoofing or falsification of routing information;
- Any activity that disrupts Vezelnova's network or other customers' services.
3. Network Security
Customers must implement BCP38 ingress filtering on their networks. Originating spoofed traffic will result in immediate null-routing and contract termination.
4. Abuse Reporting
Abuse reports are handled by our NOC team: abuse@vezelnova.nl. We aim to respond to Spamhaus and similar escalations within 24 hours. We reserve the right to null-route or disconnect any source of verified abuse without prior notice.
5. Compliance with Law
Customers must comply with all applicable Dutch, EU and international law, including but not limited to: GDPR, the Dutch Telecommunications Act, NIS2 Directive, and sanctions regulations enforced by OFAC/EU.
6. Enforcement
Vezelnova reserves the right to investigate suspected violations and cooperate with law enforcement. Consequences of AUP violations include traffic filtering, service suspension, or contract termination without refund.
